Metacognition and Collaborative Learning

Aims to show that:

Learning needs to be a two-way process, where learners are involved in self-assessment and made aware of how and why they are learning.

The interaction of the teacher with the learners in explaining how to carry out a particular task or getting them to talk about what they know or how they know if they have completed a task well or badly provide a natural means of enabling pupils to become aware of the learning process.
