School communities at the heart of developing the whole child and supporting families in accessing the resources they need.
The course will focus on what is meant by adopting a “mastery approach” to learning in science and how to achieve national standard for all children. You will be introduced to a large range of practical hands-on ideas and activities to help deliver both the “knowledge content” and different types of “working scientifically” for each year group.
You will be shown a manageable system to help assess, moderate, monitor and track pupil progress and experience a host of formative assessment ideas that can be used to help children progress. This training pre-empts the DASCo Science Moderation planned for 12th March 2020.
The material presented will be similar to that presented in the sessions held in Feb/March 2019.
